Frequently Asked Questions
Clear Terms Before You Commit.
Does membership include unlimited medical-record review?
No. Membership provides workspace continuity and a defined monthly service allowance. Every substantive project is separately scoped.
Is my entire membership payment applied to services?
Yes. The monthly fee creates an equal-dollar service allowance that may be applied to approved Critical Timeline work.
Will one month’s allowance cover a complete chronology or Case Review?
It may, but not always. Final requirements depend on record volume, record quality, facilities, specialty, urgency, and analytical depth. Any additional amount is disclosed before work continues.
Can our firm hire Critical Timeline without becoming a member?
Yes. Chronologies, screening, Case Reviews, examination support, and other approved services remain available as project-based engagements.
What happens to unused allowance?
Unused allowance automatically carries into one additional billing cycle. Rolled allowance is used first and expires after that cycle. It has no cash value.
Can we cancel?
Founding memberships begin with a 90-day pilot term. After the pilot, membership continues month to month and may be canceled with 30 days’ written notice. Treatment of active projects, remaining allowance, workspace access, and data export is governed by the membership agreement.
Does membership guarantee a specific nurse?
No. Reviewer continuity may be prioritized, but assignment depends on specialty, authorization, conflicts, availability, capacity, and quality requirements.
Are medical records submitted through the membership application?
No. Separate record-transfer instructions are provided after scope and engagement are confirmed.
